About
Alberto Reyes migrated from Mexico around 1987 and quickly established himself in the restaurant business in Atlanta. He worked his way up from dishwasher to cook and eventually to manager. In 1999, Alberto moved to Charleston and opened Los Arcos in Goose Creek. Influenced by his mother, a fine dining chef in Morelia, Mexico, the restaurant received immediate critical acclaim. This success led to the opening of a second location in Mount Pleasant in 2002.
Alberto has brought authentic Mexican cuisine to the Lowcountry, and the response has been overwhelming. With great food, reasonable prices, and excellent service, Los Arcos offers the best Mexican dining experience north of the border.
